So Lisa Whelchel, who played Blair on the Facts of Life, now travels the country telling parents to punish their children by feeding them hot sauce. She has written a book and everything. In this book she suggests not only “hot saucing” a child (like the kid is a buffalo wing or something) but also dragging the kid by the hair if the kid won’t go where you want him to. So I was watching television and saw an ad for chewable heart burn medication. Shortly after that I see an ad for chewable fiber pills. Both brag about how water isn’t needed to take these pills and how easy they are to take in general because they are chewable. What, people can’t swallow anymore? I understand it with little kids, but full grown adults unable to swallow tiny pills? What is going on here? Also, what is this “no water” stuff that they all brag about? So, this guy is waiting for 28 years to hear back from his phone company, so that he can have a phone. He finally gets a reply and it tells him to fill out the enclosed form so that he can remain on the waiting list. The phone company says this is not unusual.

Kind of puts the whole “We will be there between 8am and 5pm” line into perspective. In Romania it apparently is more like “We will be there sometime between birth and death. Maybe.”

I work with a Garbage Pail Kid. He sometimes goes by the alias Flobbins or Bugs Bunny. He sits near the Fabulous Jodi, who is a great person because she provides music for the whole office via her headphones.

So this is what a blog feels like.

Oh sure, I have posted stuff here before, but not in a while. Now, though, I am told I need to post more often. And by more often I mean post. The demand for my thoughts, musings and commentary is intense. So many people keep telling me to do this, that I had to give into the demand.
